In "Wreck-It Ralph", the arcade character of Winthrop is once again facing problems. This time, her console's steering wheel has been damaged and needs to be replaced. As the console is from an old arcade, there are only a few spare parts in circulation. However, the steering wheel that is available is extremely expensive, so the game's boss decides to sell the console instead.
This decision would mean that all of the characters living in Sprint City - including Winthrop - would lose their homes forever. In an effort to prevent this tragedy from occurring, Ralph and Winthrop set out on a personal mission to the Internet to buy the steering wheel. Along the way, they encounter numerous obstacles and mistakes that lead to humorous situations.
To raise money for the steering wheel, Ralph even goes viral as a video blogger, earning clicks and followers through his videos. Meanwhile, Winthrop discovers a new passion for racing games, particularly "Wild Racing". Through their individual journeys, Ralph and Winthrop learn important lessons about friendship and perseverance.
