By using profound reality, it has been adapted consistently by different filmwriters. Talented French Polish director Roman Polanski adapted the novel into a film in his later years, which became a hit. This thesis studies the adaptation of Oliver Twist by Polanski to discuss the phenomenon of creative treason arising from the adaptation of the novel into a cinematic form.
